The only real point to the game is to rack up as high a score as possible, and the game is really just about blasting your way through wave after wave of bad guys before they take down your ship. The game throws you into World War II where you find yourself aboard a battleship. It's okay if you just want to engage your trigger finger rather than your brain, but even in this respect, it's far from great and you might be better off with Cyberia or Rebel Assault for something that's at least a bit more engaging.
